Mitchell Hilbe is a clinical research strategist with over a decade of experience spanning site operations, CRO oversight, and sponsor engagement. He currently serves as Head of Site Relations for a multi-site Expanded Access Program, where he leads study startup planning, feasibility coordination, and operational readiness strategy. Mitch brings a systems-thinking approach to trial design and has worked extensively on improving clinical trial infrastructure in underserved communities. His focus on aligning protocol feasibility with real-world constraints has shaped his views on risk behavior in clinical research. He regularly collaborates on quality-by-design initiatives and has helped integrate ICH E8(R1) principles across diverse trial settings. Mitch is also a co-founder of a nonprofit aimed at training and empowering new research professionals, with an emphasis on equity and inclusion.
